Games and slots
The Algerian model of total prohibition leaves no room for legal games for money: there are no licenses for slots, electronic roulettes, card tables and poker rooms, as well as for arcades with cash prizes.
Any gambling organisation qualifies as an offence with the risk of fines, confiscation of equipment and criminal liability.
In everyday life, only social entertainment is preserved - backgammon, dominoes, cards, chess - strictly without bets and winnings.
For business, this means the absence of a product line of "games for money" and a focus on non-standard leisure formats.
