Land-based casinos
The Algerian legal model does not allow the existence of land-based casinos in any form.
There are no licensing procedures, hotels and clubs cannot open gaming halls; any attempts to organize roulette, tables, slots or private clubs with games for money qualify as a violation of the law.
Enforcement includes raids, confiscation of equipment and revenue, fines and possible prison terms for organizers.
For the industry, the conclusion is unequivocal: no offline gambling infrastructure legally exists in Algeria; only non-gambling leisure is allowed.
