Lotteries, sports betting and land casinos are allowed subject to KYC/AML and 18 + age verification.

The tax burden usually includes licensing fees and gross gaming income (GGR) tax, regular reporting and connection to turnover monitoring systems.

The online segment is allowed with separate authorization: responsible game tools (limits, self-exclusion), transparent bonuses, data protection and settlements in XAF through local payment channels are expected from operators.
