Laws and regulation
The regulation of gambling in Guinea is state-centralized: lotteries and betting services under the control of authorized bodies and state operators remain a priority.
For terrestrial formats, licenses and fiscal payments are applied, there are age restrictions (usually 18 +) and basic requirements for KYC/AML.
There is no separate, detailed framework for online casinos yet: access to foreign platforms is actually possible, but their activities in the country are not considered licensed.
The practice of law enforcement is developing as the market is formalized: operators are important for the transparency of payments and taxes, players are to check the legality of the site and the availability of responsible play tools.
