Laws and regulation
The legal framework of Seychelles is built around the modern framework law on gambling, which established an independent regulator - Gambling Board.
The regulator licenses casinos, slot machine halls, betting, lotteries and interactive (online) gambling, and also issues permits to suppliers of equipment and content.
For operators, there are introductory and annual fees plus a tax on gross gaming income; for violations - fines, suspension and revocation of the license.
Mandatory AML/CFT procedures (KYC, storage of records, reports of suspicious transactions), age threshold 18 +, advertising and responsible play rules.
Online products are allowed if you have a local interactive license and comply with the requirements for technological infrastructure, audit and player protection; non-residents targeting local users must also obtain permission from the regulator.
