Economics and statistics
There is no legal gambling market in Sudan, so official GGR figures, tax revenues and operator licences are missing.
The budget receives no revenue from gambling; instead, the economic agenda is associated with supervision costs (site blocking, payment control) and the risk of funds leaking into the "gray" online abroad.
Assessment of the scale of possible illegal activity is based on indirect indicators: the number of Internet audiences, the cost of mobile traffic, the share of international payments, appeals from law enforcement agencies.
For monitoring, not market KPIs are applicable, but compliance and control indicators: the number of transactions prevented, the share of blocked domains/applications, the response time of communication providers, and informing the public about risks.
The tourism and hotel industries do not include the casino segment; legal entertainment is concentrated in cultural and sporting events without monetary excitement.
