Tunisia's gambling activity is a narrow but prominent part of the coastal tourist complex.

The main cash flows are formed in three channels: (1) the revenue of resort casinos under concessions (gaming turnover, rent/royalties, F&B and hotel upsell services), (2) state products - the National Lottery and PROMOSPORT sports pools (targeted receipts for sports/social projects), (3) employment and local purchases (personnel, security, cleaning, IT supply of equipment).

The contribution to GDP remains limited due to the ban for citizens and the lack of legal B2C online: there are no large-scale metrics like GGR iGaming, the share of mobile payments and the base of active accounts.

Casino performance is sensitive to seasonality and air traffic to Hammamet, Sousse, Monastir and Djerba; part of the income is denominated in foreign currency, which is important for the tourism sector.

Public statistics are fractional and often aggregated within the hotel business, so detailed data on revenue, taxes and employment are not fully published.

Structural growth is possible through the upgrade of resort clusters, increased offseason load and the development of non-commercial leisure products around the casino; regulatory frameworks (prohibition for residents, lack of online) set a natural scaling ceiling.
