In Georgia, gambling is allowed under license (offline and online) under the supervision of financial authorities.

From 2022-2024. there is an enhanced social filter: you can play from the age of 25; access to recipients of social benefits, civil servants, self-excluded and persons under a court decision is prohibited.

Advertising of gambling is prohibited (including TV/outdoor/Internet, with the exception of limited brand activities on their own resources).

Full player identification, non-cash payments, limits and responsible play tools are required; for operators - KYC/AML, reporting and tax/licensing requirements.

The online segment is legal, but operates on an account-based play basis with age and status checks.

For violations, fines, blocking and license revocation are provided.

The state policy is to preserve the legal market, minimizing social risks and the share of "gray" traffic.
