Land-based casinos

The land segment of India is concentrated in several jurisdictions.

There is an age threshold of 21 +, mandatory ID/KYC check, input collection/packet, enhanced video control and chip/cache accounting.

Sikkim allows casinos in hotels 5 (Gangtok): objects are more compact, tied to mountain tourism and MICE.

Daman/Diyu - limited mode: large projects are positioned as resort, but with partial permits and careful work practice.

Most other states prohibit casinos.

Demand profile - domestic tourism + foreign guests; non-cash payments for entrance/services are accepted, and operations with chips are carried out through cash desks with compliance.

Trends: integration with hotel infrastructure, growth in service quality and strict adherence to the requirements of a responsible game.
