In Indonesia, there is a total ban on gambling, so there is no legal market, and direct budget revenues (taxes from GGR, licenses, fees) are zero.

Government spending is focused on enforcement: blocking online resources, interagency raids and financial monitoring.

Part of effective demand goes to neighboring jurisdictions with legal gambling (integrated resorts and offline casinos), and within the country, demand partially flows into the gray/underground segment, the scale of which is difficult to assess.

Indonesia's tourism strategy is built on beaches, nature and culture, without "casino-driven" projects; the economic contribution of the industry is replaced by the indirect costs of control and prevention of harm.
