Land-based casinos
There are no legal land casinos in Indonesia: the criminal ban applies to the entire country, including tourist regions (Bali, Jakarta, etc.).
Authorities are conducting raids against clandestine clubs, seizing equipment and holding both organizers and players accountable.
Hotels and resorts offer only non-gaming entertainment; "gray" formats (playrooms disguised as private clubs) are suppressed.
Part of the demand goes to travel abroad - to neighboring jurisdictions with legal casinos or on cruises, but the participation of residents in gambling remains risky from the point of view of Indonesian law.
The common vector is maintaining a complete offline ban and zero tolerance for ground gambling.
