Land-based casinos
Singapore operates only two casinos inside integrated resorts - Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa.
Oversight is carried out by the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA), which sets strict standards for safety, AML/CTF and responsible play.
Attendance is allowed from the age of 21; for citizens and permanent residence, an entrance fee (daily or annual) is charged, and foreign guests undergo an identity check.
There are self-exclusion, family and third-party bans through the National Problem Game Council, and visiting limits.
The operating model limits the number of tables and slots, junket activity is actually not allowed or is licensed in an extremely narrow format.
Both resorts are required to develop non-gambling infrastructure (hotels, MICE, entertainment), which supports tourism and employment, while violations are subject to significant fines and possible suspension of licenses.
