Sports and betting

In Singapore, sports betting is centralised at state-owned operator Singapore Pools (overseen by GRA).

Football betting and separate motorsport events are allowed; no other markets are allowed.

The minimum age for bets is 18 + (for casinos - 21 +).

Access is possible at offline points of sale and through an online account with mandatory KYC, deposit/spending limits, self-exclusion and family bans (NCPG).

Advertising is strictly limited, and participation in unlicensed online bookmakers is punishable by fines and criminal liability.

Historically significant racetrack wagering discontinued after equestrian closure in 2024; the focus of the market has shifted to football and lottery products.
