Culture and history
The Belarusian gaming culture grew out of the Soviet lottery tradition and the post-Soviet halls/casinos of the 1990s-2000s, where Minsk became the center of the "classic" offline at hotels and business venues.
Over time, the industry was consolidated and formalized: strict requirements for locations, 21 +, identification and restrained marketing set the tone for "European moderation."
In the 2010s, an online regulated legacy was added to the offline legacy: licensed sites, KYC/AML and self-limiting tools became part of daily practice.
In popular culture, excitement is perceived pragmatically - as a leisure and tourism service without romanticization, with an emphasis on transparency, security and correct communication.
