City of Dreams Mediterranean - Europe's largest casino resort

City of Dreams Mediterranean is Europe's first integrated resort (IR) and the largest casino on the continent. It is located in the suburb of Limassol (Zakki), opened to guests after a soft start on June 12, 2023 and a grand ceremony on July 10-11, 2023. The resort is owned by Melco Resorts & Entertainment.

Hotel: 14-storey tower with 500 rooms and suites.

IR is billed as the largest integrated casino resort in the EU and "the largest casino in Europe": this claim accompanied the launch and was widely cited by business media. At the launch were noted: 7,500 m ² the gambling zone, ~ 1,000 slots and ~ 100 tables.

IR location and concept

The resort occupies ~ 14.8 acres in the area of ​ ​ Zakki (Limassol), next to the port and new business buildings. The IR formula is a bundle of hotel 5, casino, MICE, gastronomy, shopping and entertainment on one site, which allows you to work all year round, and not just during the beach season.

Impact on tourism and the economy
