Chief regulator: UK Gambling Commission

The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) is the central gambling regulator in the UK, created by the Gambling Act 2005. Its job is to make the market legal, "honest and open," and to protect children and vulnerable people from harm. 3. Advertising and promo. Marketing should not mislead or target minors; bonus terms - clear and verifiable.

4. AML/KYC and financial control. Risk assessment, monitoring of transactions, checks of the source of funds by triggers, reporting.

The role of local authorities

UKGC is the "center" of the system, but ground sites also require permits from local licensing authorities, which are guided by the same three goals of the law. Thus, a single standard is maintained for the country, taking into account the features on the ground.
