The future of Norway's gambling sector is linked to further digitalisation and tougher standards for responsible gambling.

The government will continue to improve the Norsk Tipping platform by introducing personalized limits, AI behavior monitoring and instant notifications via BankID.

The main focus is on preventing addiction and protecting vulnerable groups.

It is also planned to strengthen measures against offshore operators: new blocking of domains and payment channels, as well as legal pressure on foreign affiliates.

In the perspective of the 2030s, Norway will maintain the monopoly model, but with the expansion of online tools, mobile analytics and self-restraint programs.

Technological maturity and a high level of trust of citizens in the state will make the Norwegian system one of the most stable and ethically verified in Europe.
