Land-based casinos

There are no classic land-based casinos in Norway.

The offline segment is represented by controlled halls with VLT terminals (Multix/Belago operated by Norsk Tipping), retail betting points and licensed bingo halls with a charitable orientation.

Access is strictly 18 +, identity verification and limits are required, video surveillance and self-exclusion tools are in effect.

Alcohol and marketing are severely limited.

Exceptions apply to rare offline events (for example, national poker championships with special permissions), but full-fledged casino resorts and gambling houses are prohibited in the country.
