Sports and betting

Bahrain is actively developing sports as part of a tourism brand: the focus is on motorsport and international tournaments, as well as football with academy infrastructure, equestrian and sailing sports, combat disciplines and e-sports.

The calendar is complemented by mass races, cycling events and school leagues.

Gambling bets are prohibited: there are no legal PPPs and online bookmakers, advertising betting is not allowed, access to foreign sites carries legal and financial risks.

For clubs and media, a safe vector is partnerships with airlines, technology, development and FMCG, fan events and gamification without money excitement, an emphasis on youth programs and fair play.
