Land-based casinos
In Iraq, land casinos are not licensed and are considered illegal: hotels, clubs and entertainment centers are prohibited from placing gaming tables and slot halls.
Law enforcement agencies suppress clandestine sites - equipment is confiscated, premises are closed, organizers face fines and prison terms.
Some differences are possible only in the practice of control, but not in the principled position of the law.
The result is the complete absence of legal offline infrastructure and "game tourism" in the jurisdiction where casinos are allowed (for example, Northern Cyprus, Batumi).
