In Kuwait, gambling in all forms is prohibited by religious and criminal law.

There are no licenses for casinos, bookmaking, poker, sweepstakes and lotteries; there is no specialized regulator.

Access to gaming sites and applications is blocked, advertising and sponsorship by betting operators are unacceptable.

Participation, organization and mediation carry legal risks (fines, possible criminal liability, confiscation of funds), and banks and fintech providers apply KYC/AML procedures to suppress "gaming" transactions.

For business and media, a safe strategy is a complete rejection of the gambling component, the use of only promotional mechanics without paid entry and chance, as well as a preliminary legal audit of any activity with prizes.
