In Qatar, gambling in all forms is prohibited by religious and criminal law.

There is no licensing authority for casinos, bookmakers or lotteries; access to gaming sites and applications is blocked by providers.

For organization, mediation, promotion and participation, fines and criminal liability are possible, and transactions with the "game" meta are suppressed by the AML/CFT rules.

Advertising of betting and sponsorship by operators is unacceptable.

Only entertainment and promotional activities are allowed without paid entry and an element of randomness (skill games, educational quizzes).

For business, a safe strategy is a complete rejection of the gambling component and a legal audit of any mechanics with prizes.
