Land-based casinos

In the UAE, terrestrial casinos are traditionally prohibited: special licenses are not issued, gambling halls and VIP clubs are unacceptable.

The travel strategy relies on family entertainment, shows, theme parks and MICE events without a gambling component.

In recent years, the framework of "commercial gaming" has been discussed and integrated resorts have been announced, but the launch of classic casinos requires a separate permit regime and has not been implemented in practice.

For business - strict compliance and refusal of any "gaming" services; for tourists - there are no legal casinos in the Emirates yet.
