Land-based casinos

There are no land-based casinos in Yemen: the Sharia-based legal regime completely prohibits gambling establishments (roulette, slots, poker, VIP clubs, etc.).

The state does not issue licenses, there is no specialized regulator for casinos, attempts to organize "private" halls are subject to prosecution.

Hotel and travel projects develop without a gaming component, and any offers of "casinos" or sweepstakes carry a high legal and reputational risk for residents and businesses.
