"Giants" map: what catches your eye
Displacement of the center of gravity beyond Vegas. Tribal resorts in Connecticut, California and Oklahoma are steadily in the top 10: Mohegan Sun, Foxwoods, Yaamava, Thunder Valley, Choctaw Durant, Pechanga. This is a consequence of IGRA and tribal investments in regional megacourts.
Florida and the Seminole model. Large game floors in Tampa and (slightly smaller in area) in Hollywood confirm the role of the state and tribal agreements in creating an "out-of-Vegas" mass.
Las Vegas - about "non-gaming." Even with the large MGM Grand footprint, modern Vegas is banking on MICE, entertainment and an "integrated resort," not just the sheer size of the casino.
Methodology and sources
The main criterion is the area of the gaming floor/gaming space.
For discrepancies, the most recent and/or official operator data and verified directories were used: WinStar (official page), Mohegan Sun/Foxwoods (official. materials and Wikipedia with up-to-date updates), Yaamava" (Wikipedia/official listings), Thunder Valley (official FAQ), Seminole Hard Rock Tampa (official page), Choctaw Durant (Wikipedia and press materials), Pechanga (official "fast facts"), MGM Grand (reference profiles and Wikipedia), Hard Rock Tulsa (a selection of Oklahoma's largest casinos).
The market for "megacourts" in the United States is multipolar: from the "neon corridor" of Las Vegas to tribal integrated resorts on the East and West coasts and in Oklahoma. The size of the playing area is an important, but not the only indicator of strength: commercial success is increasingly determined by omnichannel (online ↔ offline), MICE, shows and restaurants, but it is the large game floors that remain the anchor for the tourist flow and the event calendar.
