Until 2030, Fiji is likely to maintain a conservative course: without launching classic land-based casinos and without full local licensing of online casinos.

Narrow pilots of distance products (for example, sports pools/sweepstakes) are possible in partnership with regional providers - with strict rules for advertising and payments.

Growth will depend on tourism and the availability of mobile payments; regulatory priority - protecting vulnerable players, combating money laundering and transparency of turnover, and not expanding the range of gambling.
