Land-based casinos
There are no land-based casinos in the Marshall Islands - this is facilitated by a prohibitive legal regime, a small population and limited inbound tourism.
The format "resort + casino" is not economically recouped: the high cost of logistics and infrastructure, the priority of ecotourism and the protection of the marine environment.
Permissible forms of games are reduced to one-time charitable raffles under the control of local authorities.
Bottom line: there is no offline casino infrastructure, and any changes are possible only with a revision of legislation and the emergence of a sustainable tourist model.
