Laws and regulation
In the Marshall Islands, there is no licensing system for casinos and online gambling: specialized acts and criminal laws consider gambling as prohibited if they do not fall under charitable/social exceptions (one-time raffles, lotteries for fundraising by communities/schools).
No dedicated gambling market regulator has been set up; supervision mainly affects payment and AML/CFT requirements (identification of players/donors, reporting of organizers).
There are no land casinos or legal betting outlets; there is no national lottery.
The use of foreign online sites is formally outside of local jurisdiction and does not provide consumer protection.
The practical focus of the state is to clarify risks, control advertising/payments and comply with the age limit (usually 18 +) in cases of charitable events.
