Land-based casinos

There are no land-based casinos in Palau - the criminal legal framework prohibits casinos and most forms of gambling.

The tourist flow is focused on diving and ecotourism, and not on gambling holidays, so the "resort + casino" models are not developed here.

Permitted formats are limited to social/charity draws under the control of local authorities.

For the market, this means zero offline infrastructure, and any initiatives are possible only with a change in the basic prohibitive regime.
