The market is "whitening": the regulator Coljuegos publishes a list of legal brands (15 platforms as of February 2024) and systematically blocks illegal sites (social profiles and domains).

Demand is supported by high digitalization: at the beginning of 2024, Internet penetration reached ~ 75. 7% of the population, and the local PSE scheme remains the dominant way of online payments (especially among bank transfers in e-commerce).

Bottom line: the combination of transparent deduction rates, digital coverage and compliance forms a steady growth in the legal segment while stripping the gray supply.
