Why use biometrics

How it works under the hood (briefly and on the case)
The app does not store your fingerprint/face. Biometrics are compared locally by the system.
The application only receives a "pass check" signal and uses a secure key/token stored in iOS Keychain or Android Keystore.
If biometrics are successful, the application will unlock the session without re-entering the password. The password and 2FA remain the basic level of protection (they will be asked for critical actions: changing details, output, new device, etc.).

Do not disable the device password. Biometrics only works with a passcode/PIN.
