What to do if the game is no longer enjoyable
When the game no longer pleases, it is a signal that the framework, expectations or emotional state need reassembling. Do not try to "crush" the pleasure - this almost always leads to tilt and expenses. Below is a clear plan: stop → diagnose → reboot → decide (return according to new rules or take a long pause).
1) Quick self-diagnosis: why the pleasure disappeared
Note that your response is:- Emotions: fatigue, irritation, thoughts "you need to recoup."
- Expectations: "should be a plus," "everyone wins, but I don't."
- Session math: rate/time higher than comfortable; "expensive" bonuses/high volatility.
- Wednesday: Night sessions, alcohol, rush, lots of notifications.
- Finance: sessions are not financed from "free money," anxiety about the budget is growing.
- Signs of loss of control: breaking your limits, hiding the game, debts.
2) Stop button for 60 minutes (do now)
1. Close the lobby/app and sign out of your accounts.
2. Delete saved cards/autocomplete payments.
3. Turn on the timeout at the operator for at least 24 hours (preferably 72).
4. Do Not Disturb mode, water/walk for 10 minutes, 10 slow breaths.
5. Write in a note: what is no longer pleasing? (furs, pace, expectations, money, fatigue).
3) 72 Hours Reboot Plan
Day 1 - cool pulses
Technical blocks: timeout/self-exclusion, output lock (payout cancellation prohibition), unsubscribe from mailings.
Banking hygiene: virtual card limit, gambling MCC block (if available).
Sleep/food/movement, minimum screens in the evening.
Day 2 - Disassemble Causes
Check your bank and limits: 'SB/SL/SW', rate as% of bank, not 'by feeling'
Write down the triggers: nights, "turbo," deadline bonuses, streams.
Define the goal: I return the game as a hobby or pause for a month +.
Day 3 - Decide
If you return: only Sprint 25 + 5, the rate − 20% of the previous one, without bonuses and deadlines, test output with any plus.
If pause: extend self-exclusion, uninstall apps, replace playtime with alternatives (see section 7).
4) Decision tree: go back or take a long pause?
I return carefully if:- the game is funded by "free money";
- I am willing to comply with SL = SB and SW = 30-50% SB;
- there is no "chase" and stealth;
- pre/post session emo level ≤ 2/5.
- there are debts/secret deposits/" wagering ";
- violated (a) SL/SW;
- emo level ≥ 3/5 or work/family problems;
- night marathons, alcohol, stress.
5) A "fresh start" framework if you return
Money: play only on discretionary balance (5-10% of it for a month; with debts - 0%).
Rate: as% of the bank: low 1-2%, mid 0.5-1%, high 0.2-0.5%. Recalculation at the ± of 10% of the bank. Without dogons.
Time: Sprints only 25 + 5 or Standard 45-50 + 10, no more than 2-3 sessions/day, no night.
Feet: SL = SB, SW = 30-50% SB; with SW - I withdraw 30-50% of profit.
Pace: no "turbo," short auto-series or manually.
Math: "price of the hour" 'EL ≈ back × bet × (1 − RTP)' must be ≤ SB.
6) "If-then" scenarios (automatics vs. tilt)
If there was an idea to "recoup," then the time-out is 24-72 hours.
If the hand reaches "raise bid once," then the end of the session; tomorrow the rate − 20%.
If SL/SW is reached, then immediate output (partial output at plus).
If two bodily markers of stress (pulse/sweat/rush), then a pause of 5-10 minutes.
7) How to replace the game so that the pleasure of life returns
Short dopamine replacements: walk, shower, light workout for 10-15 minutes.
Long substitutions: series/book/games without money, cooking/hobbies "hands," board games with friends.
Social support contact: one person to whom you write "I am on pause."
Financial "reward" instead of overclocking: part of the deferred time/money - for a small purchase/experience outside the game.
8) When you need help and tougher measures
Contact specialists/support lines if present:- secret deposits/debts;
- regular violations of limits;
- "chasing" a loss;
- thoughts of self-harm/despair.
- Put long self-exclusion and bank blocks; don't be left with it one-on-one.
9) Log for 60 seconds (after each session or pause day)
KPI for the week: compliance with SL/SW ≥ 90%, 0 "one-time increases," emo level ≤ 3/5, no night sessions.
10) 14-day 'return of meaning' plan
D1-D3: 72-hour pause (Section 3).
D4: one session Sprint 25 + 5, rate − 20% of the previous one; no bonuses.
Д5: off-day; sports/walking; purging subscriptions/streams.
D6: "Standard" 45-50 + 10 on low/mid-vol; with a plus - test output.
D7: review of the week by KPI; with ≥3/5 emo - another week only "Sprints."
D8-D10: 1-2 short sessions; if there is no joy - pause + search for alternatives.
D11: mini-audit of money and time; rate/share adjustment.
D12: a day without a game.
D13: short session only when emo 1-2/5.
D14: solution: leave the game in hobby format or extend the pause for a month.
11) Check list "Do I return the game now?"
- I only play for "free money" (no loans).
- There are BK/SB/SL/SW, operator limits and output lock.
- Rate =% Bank; EL ≤ SB.
- No night sessions/alcohol.
[The] emo level is 1-2/5 today.- Ready to end at SL/SW without "another spin."
If at least one item "no" - transfer and work with sections 3-7.
12) Card on screen (copy)
If not: Pause 72 h Delete autocards Operator timeout MCC unit
Return (if desired): Sprint 25 + 5 Bet − 20% SL = SB SW = 30-50% SB EL ≤ SB
Stop phrases: "win back," "raise the bet once →" stop/timeout 24-72 hours
Responsibly and by law
Play only with free money and within the laws of your jurisdiction. Any signs of loss of control is a reason to take a long time out and seek professional support.
Lack of pleasure is not a "breakdown of luck," but an invitation to stop and rebuild the system. Give yourself 72 hours, remove triggers, align money and time, decide whether to return in the format of a calm hobby or take a long pause. The main criterion is not "plus/minus," but that you manage the process again and feel better.
