How cryptocurrency payments work
Crypto payment is the transfer of funds from the operator's cash desk to your blockchain address. Unlike maps and e-wallet, there is a network/token, a network commission (fee/gas), an address + MEMO/Tag (if necessary) and a mandatory transaction identifier - TXID. Understanding these details saves time and money, and at the same time protects against irreversible errors.
1) What does crypto payment consist of?
Coin/token and network: USDT on which network? (TRC-20, ERC-20, TON, SOL, Polygon, Arbitrum и т. д.).
Recipient address: address string and/or MEMO/Tag (for exchange addresses: XRP, XLM, BNB Chain, sometimes TON, etc.).
Network commission (fee): paid in the native coin of the network (on ETH - ETH, on TRON - TRX, etc.).
Confirmations: blocks that must be added for the exchange/wallet to offset the payment.
TXID: a unique blockchain "receipt" that shows status, amount, addresses and commission.
2) Payout life cycle: statuses
3) Network selection: speed, commission, compatibility
Rule: choose the cheapest compatible network your recipient supports. Always check the network/token in the recipient's office.
4) Address and Memo/Tag: when it is critical
Address only: most EVM networks (ETH/L2/Polygon), TRON (TRC-20), SOL.
Address + MEMO/Tag: exchange addresses (XRP, XLM, BNB Chain, sometimes TON/exchanges).
If you forget MEMO/Tag: the exchange does not automatically offset - you need a ticket in support of the exchange with TXID and data.
Tip: for exchanges, use an internal wallet/sub-account with auto-credit or make a test transfer in a small amount.
5) KYC/AML and closed-loop in crypto
Licensed operators request KYC, and for large amounts, SoF/SoW (source of funds/wealth).
Closed-loop: the amount of deposits can be returned to the original (fiat) method, and net-win to crypto. The order depends on the operator's rules.
Mismatch of account name and details, frequent change of addresses, VPN during output - frequent triggers manual review.
6) Limits and fees
Min. the amount depends on the network and operator policy (due to fee). On cheap networks, the minimum wage is lower.
Max. for tranche/day - internal limits + anti-fraud. Large sums are divided into batches.
Operator commission is often 0%, but network commission is inevitable (gas/fee).
Quotas "0% for the operator": plan 1-2 tranches, do not split into microsums for no reason.
7) Step-by-step plan: how to request a crypto payment without errors
1. Network selection: open "Deposit" in the wallet/exchange, select the desired token and network; make sure the operator supports it.
2. Copy the address and Memo/Tag (if needed) → paste into the output form, check the first/last characters.
3. Check the minimum wage and commission: the amount after fee should not "fall" below the recipient's enrollment threshold.
4. Disable VPN, use your usual device/browser, enable 2FA.
5. Send a test mini-tranche (e.g. 10-50 y. e.) .
6. Get the TXID, check in the explorer: address, amount, confirmations.
7. After the test - the main tranche (s) according to limits/quotas.
8) How to read a transaction in a blockchain explorer
From/To: sender's address and your address.
Amount: the amount of the token, sometimes separately - fee in the native coin of the network.
Confirmations: number of confirmations; the exchange will enroll when it reaches its threshold (e.g., 20/40 blocks).
Status: Success/Confirmed - all ok; Dropped/Failed - check with support.
9) Common mistakes and quick fixes
10) Practical scenarios
A. Output USDT for Fast Cashout
Network: TRC-20/TON/SOL.
Actions: test 20 USDT → the main tranche in quotas "0%" and daily limits.
Expected: enrollment in minutes.
B. Large amount (several thousand)
Network: L2/Polygon/TRC-20 (see recipient limits).
Action: pre-KYC + SoF, 1-2 test tranches, then batches, coordinate schedule with support.
C. Transfer to Exchange
Memo Required/Tag? - specify.
Enrollment: Target exchange confirmation thresholds.
11) Pre-shipment checklist
+ Confirmed the network with the recipient (same as selected).
+ Address and Memo/Tag are inserted without errors.
+ Amount> minimals of the network and exchange after taking into account fee.
+ No VPN, device/browser familiar, 2FA enabled.
+ Test tranche made; TXID checked in the explorer.
+ Ready SoF for a large sum (if asked).
12) What to write in support (templates)
Clarify the network/minimum/fee
There is a TXID but no enrollment
I want to change the network (before TXID!)
13) Mini-FAQ
Is it possible to return the payment to crypto?
After the appearance of TXID - no. There is a chance before TXID if the provider has not sent a batch.
Why does the exchange require a lot of confirmation?
It's her security policy. Small networks/new L2s have higher thresholds.
What is the "cheapest" network?
More often TRC-20, TON, SOL, L2, but check support with your recipient.
Why ask for KYC/SoF in crypto?
AML works for all methods, especially large sums.
Crypto payments are faster and cheaper if: the network is correctly selected, the address/MEMO/Tag is error-free, the amount is higher than the minimum, and you are without a VPN and with 2FA. Always check TXID in the explorer, plan tranches for limits and have KYC/SoF for large amounts. Then your transfers reach quickly, predictably and without unnecessary commissions.
